I thought I would try this place as I have never had a Caribbean takeaway before. Delivery took 2 hours, by which point I was not hungry then! The delivery driver was apologetic and said that one of the drivers had called in sick. He did give us £2 off the order when we asked. I ordered a small goat curry, the goat was soft, tender and flavoursome. I would have liked more curry in the dish as it was mainly rice. I also ordered the ackee and saltfish, the ackee was nice but there was not much fish in the dish which was a shame. The large dumpling was tasty, sweet, crispy on the outside and doughy in the middle. The sides, however, were disappointing. The rice and peas and side of root vegetables were very bland and could have been seasoned better. Overall the food was ok and not greasy but if you are looking for food that exudes flavour and spice, then I would try other Caribbean restaurants such as Turtle Bay. read more
