I don't always expect much from mall food. I know that it's mass produced in a hurry and dished out to the millions of patrons to eat in the crowded, smelly food court. Kyoto is smack bang in the middle of the food court in Glenfield Mall so you literally can't miss it. It looks pretty good. There's a huge range of sushi on display and lots of little meals in small plastic containers. The one time I dined here I ordered the chicken terriyaki set. It was a tad disappointing. My miso soup was pretty cold and didn't have the strong miso hit I like. The chicken was average and the rice and salad were nothing special either. I ate a fair bit of it but didn't come close to finishing it all. i think I left my miso after a couple of unsatisfying sips. read more
