We ate at La Marina on our first night in Monterossa. The Pizza was exactly what we needed after hiking the Cinque Terra trail from Monterossa to Vernazza earlier that day. Yes, great pizza restaurants are ubiquitous in Italy, but this restaurant was just what we needed, when we needed it. It was food and service was so good, we ate here again on our last night. On that evening, there was a thunderstorm and massive down pouring of rain, but the tent kept us dry and we were still able to eat outside. read more
