La Michoacana has opened a location in Joelton, Tennessee on the corner of Union Hill Road and Whites Creek Pike and I have to say that I was very impressed with their ice cream. It is not a big store by any means, but it is bright and the staff is incredibly friendly. I tried a sample of a few samples and went with their oreo ice cream. This is Mexican style ice cream and I have to say that I have always enjoyed this ice cream (well, honestly, all ice cream). I am a bit surprised that they opened here in the small-town of Joelton, Tennessee, but it is a welcome addition to Joelton. I think the only other ice cream place is a Dairy Queen. Oh, this ice cream is also well priced. Two scoops of ice cream was less than six dollars out the door (I think it was $5.74). If you are in the Joelton, Tennessee area, I would definitely recommend that you check this ice cream place out. I give it five stars overall. read more
