There are a lot of restaurants in the few blocks. The chill, casual, and less touristy vibe of the place caught my eye. Couples on dates. Friends having a 1-1 dinner to catch up. I was craving a small well executed steak au poivre and frites. La Santine delivered! The veal grillades du momemt served medium rare with sauce poivrade was a star. Onion soup was on the lighter side. The mousse au chocolat was good but lacked presentation. Solid choice. read more
