I scheduled an appointment on the Labcorp website at the Potomac St location for 10:30 am yesterday. I arrived to find the entire business locked and shut down. There were three notices on each of the doors. One sign said they moved to another suite down the hall; the second sign stated they were closed due to an IT issue, the third notice indicated that they were permanently closed and advised patients to check the website or head to the Highland's Ranch location. So which is it? Are they permanently closed or was there an IT issue? So deceptive and misleading! It took me 1/2 hr to drive to the HR location that closes at noon on Saturdays. I made sure to let the phlebotomist at the HR Labcorp know what happened. I showed her a photo of the notices on the doors. She took a snapshot and assured me that she'd look into it. Why isn't the online scheduling system updated to prevent scheduling at a location that is closed down? Why did I receive reminders about my appointment??This is completely unprofessional. and highly irresponsible. Labcorp must do better.
