You know what tastes great after mild hikes and chasing waterfalls - that's right .. PIZZA. You know what tastes great no matter the occasion - that's right, you guessed it, great job .. two out of two - PIZZA! We knew before our trip that we had to try ladybug pizza, there's simply no way we were going to miss out on a vegan pizza option on Orcas Island! We ordered two slices between us (ok, who am I kidding, three...we ordered three because I have poor impulse control and had to order two for myself ... oops!). The pizza was a NY style thin crust (as if any other kind really counts .... ha!) but with a thick crust and a good chew. I've had thin crust pizza in the past where it was so thin, the poor cheese and tomato sauce were practically holding on for dear life lol. For the cheese, they use a cashew cream instead of vegan cheese so, while of course you don't get that melty cheese component, it all comes together very nicely, really tasty!
