The apartments are okay for how old they are. The only good thing I have to say about it is the location if your unit is on the lake with the lake views. So I recently moved out and issues that I brought up since I've lived there for 2 and weren't ever taken care of properly. The back apartments in front of the lake need more care for which i brought to management's attention when I 1st moved in multiple times. The back buildings on the lake need to be pressure washed more often then the other buildings "professionally washed by professional people" because there's tons of spiders/spider webs, flys and yellow jackets that tend to die out and lay their nests everywhere on the back side of the apartment stair area/rails and rarely cleaned up. My dogs get covered in webs and I have to constantly clean them and that's because the lake area has tons of insects like it's a camp ground. however still can be maintained better with the proper maintenance done. I was told the apartments were pressure washed once a week which you can tell that's not accurate.. Need more dog pooping stations so people can clean up after there dogs in easy access areas. Need to update security with cameras because there has been some issues with the complex and maintain the gates because they are always open. When I was told before I moved in @ "Lake Forest Apartments" they'd be doing some updates and nothing has changed. Other than that it's a ok area and relaxing spot to live other then it's older and needs a lot of updates. that's why I give a one star for which is reasonable and fair only for the lake view I had. The maintenance guys do a fair job I guess maintaining the issues I have inside my apartment when I run into problems. Always water problems that occurs more often then normally shouldn't be happening also the grass isn't treated. There's tons of Sandburs that get stuck to the bottom of my dogs feet and so that makes it difficult to walk anywhere in the grass. People watch for your dogs paws!! management is very unprofessional with dealing with the residents. Possibly one of the worst apartments I've ever lived in. read more
