We had a booked our room like normal. My mother was told we would receive a "remodeled" room. My mom called in prior to check in to ask if they were pet friendly - they said they were. Once my mom arrived then they mention the pet fee. Fine. Some motels/hotel have pet fees. This should've been mentioned at first but ok. Well then she goes to her room to find it's anything but remodeled. The room looked like a random decaying room that someone was attempting to half way remodel. Large stains on the carpet, stains on the outside of the bathroom door, the ceiling in the bathroom was made of that wood that is typically covered by something else when it come to construction (sorry I can't recall the name) . It was just awful. My mother said the guy said well since you have a dog you can't be in a remodeled room. I have never heard of a hotel/motel placing people with pets in special rooms. That's what the pet fee is for! We seriously couldn't have made that room look any worse. If I'm honest unfortunately my mother fees that we were placed in that room due to another reason. ALL CUSTOMERS DESERVE THE REMODELED ROOMS NO MATTER WHAT! We checked out the next morning needless to say and spent a little more on a way nicer hotel. Just don't. Come prepared to pay higher than average prices due to the oil boom and stay at a nice hotel.It's worth it. read more
