With the shopping strip not the longest I thought perhaps finding coffee would be something better suited for another town, but it seems my prayers were answered with a hip little place called Laneway 73. The best bit is the placement of the coffee maker. It feels like you have walk through the mini kitchen at the front to get into the beer garden-esque area out the back, and even after I found the real entrance with a door and everything the kitchen entrance still intrigued and was used more often. The coffee here is top notch, and the food selection appears amazing. In the time spent lounging about in the sunshine I did not see one unhappy face. Actually that's not true, there was a child who dropped his ice cream, but they don't serve that here. Warm olives, yes. Mediterranean Beetroot salad, yes. Paella! yes. But no icecream. read more
