I asked for a mani/pedi. I asked if they could take off my fake tips and just do a gel base on my regular nail and they said yes no problem. I sit down and a man starts on the nail that broke off. He begins to remove the fake nail by jamming a cuticle cutter between the fake nail and my real one and proceeds to hurt me and I saw ow and pull my hand back. He apologizes and then continues just a little less forcefully. Once he gets that one off he moves to the next full nail and BENDS IT BACKWARDS to which I yell ow and a couple other guests turned to look at what was going on. I then asked if we could soak my nails off instead of trying to pull them off to which he says yes. He eventually gets them all off without injuring me further and a lady comes to do my gel polish. She doesn't wipe away any of the shavings, doesn't cut or push back my cuticles and just starts painting over my nails. I ask if she can and all she said was that I didn't have any cuticles. No finishing oil, no lotion, nothing. Mind you it's colder than freezing outside and I've just soaked my fingers in acetone.... My pedi on the other hand was actually very good. I don't have anything negative to say about the pedi, but beware of the mani's from this place. read more
