Never have I ever gone into a store and been overcharged, and the employee not correct the mistake until today. I am visiting from Phoenix and found a hat that I thought my son would love. I proceeded to pay for the hat. When I went outside, I thought to myself, "boy, their tax must be high," only to discover that I was overcharged $5.00. The hat was marked 41.99 and the cashier charged me $46.99. He then told me it was store policy not to give me the difference. I told him you could not charge me more than the marked price. He said he had no pricing policy and that if he gave me the $5.00, he would get in trouble. Are you kidding me? Now I would have had no problem paying the 46.99 had the hat been marked as such. Well, stupid me did not return the hat because I want my son to have the cap, but I am pissed I was ripped off, and everyone from he to AZ will no of my experience. My son collects hats and has well over 50, and I will never purchase from LIDS again. I hope whoever is reading this review follows my lead and never shops at LIDS again.
