Loggerhead Beach is a long stretch of sand towards the west side of the park. It faces the Atlantic Ocean and definitely has more room to stretch out. There are picnic tables nearby also and you can do other water activities on this side, such as kayaking and fishing.
it is quieter than Sandspur, but it's still a great spot to enjoy some peace and quiet. The waters are gentle rolling waves. The beach comprises mostly small rocks and pebbles, giving it a unique texture
when we visited, waves were pretty smooth and gentle and in shallow water, it was great to swim.. lovey time
