Loggerhead Park is a 17 acre recreational area off of US 1. The park includes the Loggerhead Marinelife Center which rehabilitates injured sea turtles. Behind the Marinelife Center is additional free parking, access to the beach, a small playground, picnic pavilions, picnic tables and grills, a nature trail, and an outdoor shower for beach goers. This park is adjacent to the Juno Dunes Natural Area. At the urging of the Loggerhead Marine Life Center Palm Beach county has banned balloons at this park in order to protect the sea turtles. Whether you are here for a picnic, going on a nature walk, visiting the sea turtles, going to the beach, or letting the kids burn off steam on the playground this park has a lot to offer visitors to the area. read more
