RUN! Please for the love of God do not bring anything of quality to this place. This disgrace of a business was recommended to us by a shoe repair shop in Sequim, who said he was unable to repair zippers. Absolute biggest mistake of my life. We brought a brand new leather riding boot here, it was tried on once but never worn. For starters, we dropped it off on a Friday and were told it would be ready for pick up that following Wednesday. My husband received a text that the boot would not be ready due to the zipper not arriving. Well fast forward 20 days and we haven't heard from this woman, so my husband called. She said it would be ready the following day (Friday, three weeks later). We go to pick it up and it is by far the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. She completely destroyed my boot. How can someone have a boot for 21 days and deliver such garbage? Maybe she isn't qualified enough for this level of repair? Stick to fabrics and materials that don't require much experience or skill because she is very clearly lacking any skill in this area. Another possibility we were considering is that she was under the influence while attempting to repair my boot. She gave the excuse that removing the old zipper will cause minor damage to the boot- this is full blown damage that would make someone never wear the shoe again. Ugh disgusting horrid work. My husband requested a refund for her crappy $30 repair job and she wanted my $300 boot in order to give a refund. Comical right? She thinks she's good enough to deserve to keep my leather boot in exchange for her garbage repair refund. WE should charge HER for our boot. She actually thinks this is acceptable customer service and sees no issue with what she has given us back. She didn't care in the slightest about her incredibly poor "work", she wouldn't even look at the boot while my husband was pointing it out to her. Please you guys, don't trust this shop. Not with anything you care about looking good anyway. Very unprofessional. She said she needs to order a larger zipper and didn't due to shipping "being all messed up".... So she decided to provide this sickening thing instead of keeping my boot longer to do a proper job. I mean, she had it almost a month anyway. What's another week? I can't describe how angry and disgusted we are over this, I just hope no one else makes the mistake we did. I saw a review that her "attention to detail is stellar"- potentially a review from a close friend or family? Who knows? The business has their set clientele who think they are great, and that's fine, but again- be very careful with the items you bring and if you care to get them back in good condition. I can only imagine the excuse this woman leaves under this review. I will attach photos of the beautifully well stitched boot, and the complete garbage she returned to us. I am genuinely in awe over her acceptance of this!!!!! Embarrassing work. It doesn't even look like the same boot! I can never wear these because of the highly unskilled work provided by the owner.
