(+) We started our visit with a scavenger hunt for POKEMON! What a great way to explore the space and stimulate your mind to find stickers hidden throughout the studio, like Pokémon Go without your phone!
(+) The button station was interactive and fun... and remember, you get to keep what you make here. How rewarding to learn and be involved with making something (we need more of this). Lots of options for the button graphics too.
(+) In addition to LEGO, spin art, and other arts & crafts, they offer special classes and host private parties. I plan to come back to support this local business, located at the corner/end of the aisle between Red Robins and CPK (just walk further toward the inside of the Town Center).
(+) 3D printers! Easy and intuitive tablet interface, large searchable CAD library to select models that print in front of your eyes. Staff is very accommodating in helping set it up right. The software tells you the estimated duration, and if you choose a smaller scale it takes less time at the cost of lower detail/size.
(+) Lastly, the owners were super good with kids, patient, & helpful. They encouraged and supported all the activities and made it a really enjoyable experience. No major pressure and were so welcoming throughout.
TL;DR Fun place to let your kids make things and support their creative outlets. If they're bored and you don't have the supplies (or patience) to entertain them, try the MakerStudio! read more
