Makeway's new location, located on Walnut Ave close to King/Niagara, is a women's streetwear and sneaker store. They feature the trendiest streetwear and sneakers for sale as well as have curated a variety of local and small businesses (owned by women!) to showcase their products. Moreover, in the same space, they have also collaborated with Mack House, a self-service sneaker customization studio, as well as opened up a space called Goodies (coffee by Patco Café and snacks from Auntie's Supply). I stopped by Makeway on their grand opening day to check out their new store. The store is big, bright, and beautiful! The sneaker wall looks dope and you can see how they have thoughtfully curated many small businesses to show their products. I enjoyed looking at all the things I could purchase as well as the spaciousness of the store. Moreover, you are also able to purchase coffee and snacks from Goodies. Lots of Asian snacks from Auntie's Supply and coffee/beverages are by Patco Café. Along with coffee, there is also matcha and hojicha lattes as well (made to order or bottled)!
