Aviation has always been a passion of mine. So much so that I became a flight attendant in my mid-30s as a second career. This place is SO COOL. I came with my dad, because they were hosting an event, kind of like a resource fair for veterans. Aside from there being some really cool swag to take home with us, we also got to explore the museum itself. My dad can't do a whole lot of walking, so we didn't get to see everything in its entirety, but I did get to sit on a jumpseat on one of the aircrafts and enjoy quite a bit on this beautiful October day. I can't believe how many planes they had on display outside and how cool they are about allowing you to see them up-close, and in some cases even being able to crawl inside. I especially loved the military hospital tent, and I found that to be just as interesting as the planes. I will be back again with my son. I think he would love it here too. read more
