Love the ambiance of this charming little place. We had reservations for 7pm and were shocked to only find one other table occupied when we arrived. Our server was very helpful in explaining different choices to us. We ordered a sharing platter of stuffed vegetables which was very nice. We also ordered the French onion soup which was on the salty side and skimped on the cheese. The goat cheese salad was unique but very nice. Unfortunately we have come to the main dishes. Oso buco, linguine wth shrimp and lobster bisque, and duck breast. The oso buco was not edible at all - very fatty, chewy and grissolly. The linguine had 4 shrimp and I was unable to determine if there was lobster present at all. Not sure where the bisque was as it was not evident either. The duck was good but could have been hotter. When we commented on the food - particularly the oso buco - it was said basically that that was the way it is supposed to be. We received a 10% discount and left without dessert or coffee. Disappointed in what we hoped would be a lovely night out to enjoy French cuisine. read more
