The pictures speak for themselves... Alex and his crew at Masada Construction are true artisans, true professionals, and did excellent work completely gutting and transforming our master bathroom in Mukilteo, WA. This was a huge project, and it was completed on time, within budget, and with all requirements met. Alex and his crew were very collaborative throughout the project in matters of planning, design, implementation, material procurement and I think that is why this project was able to run smoothly. It's not a true project until *something* unplanned comes up, ie, your typical "this item came a little late" or "the wood underneath was rotted" type of stuff. Every time something came up, Alex and his crew communicated it to me on the spot and we solved it. We started with demo on the original bathroom from the home's construction in 1994, and upgraded it to a serene and soothing Japanese-Scandinavian ("japandi") style with large format stone tile, removing the garden tub for a freestanding tub, doubling the shower's footprint, putting in new vanity, backlit mirrors, the works. The only thing we kept from the original was the original red oak wood doors and trim, which helps the bathroom flow with the rest of the house. As the project progressed, Alex regularly checked in to give suggestions to iterate on the design as we went. The communication and responsiveness was top notch, and reduced a lot of anxiety for me throughout the project. Overall, this was a great balance of quality, cost, and schedule, better than I think I could have done anywhere else. We want it done RIGHT, and Masada stepped up and did it right.
