All right, onto a place that I thought would be good, but was disappointed in.
I love Italian food, but this was not Italian food at least not in my eyes.
I don't know the names of everything we ate but, Jeremy had some kind of pesto pasta, and that was very good. That was the only thing I liked that we had.
My Matty had some shrimp pasta, he said it was very good but as I keep saying in my reviews, I don't do seafood. I did taste his noodles and they tasted too much shrimp, so I did not like them.
My two boys shared a funghi pizza (I forget how fungi was spelled, but it was a mushroom pizza)
They thought it was OK for the most part they said some of the slices tasted really weird and couldn't eat it.
I had some kind of margarita pizza, which was very expensive and not good. It tasted like they just opened a can of crushed tomatoes and threw that on as the sauce and then a couple pieces of mozzarella thrown on there.
It lacked in flavor big time.
And it tasted like it was burnt, although it wasn't, but it had some funny taste on the crust.
The crust was also too powdery like flour all over it.
Everything was overpriced, and not good or too small of a portion.
Also, inside of the restaurant, you could see a lot of renovation or something going on so you were able to see all kinds of, I don't even know what to call it, but a lot of space where things should be going in or came out of. I don't know if they're expanding or what, but it wasn't a very cozy restaurant at all.
The waitress was nice, and she told me out of the two things I was deciding on ordering that the pizza would be better that the one pasta was flavorless so I appreciated her honesty.
They checked on us a couple times. They did their job and they were nice..
I would definitely not go back, unless I was just getting the pesto pasta that my Jeremy got. read more
