I had never been here until last night when my husband and I came for a Duck basketball game. This was something he has been wanting to do for a while, so off we went. Ticket prices weren't bad. Seemed a little high for basketball, but not over the top.
We had made plans to walk to dinner and then over to the game after parking. They have quite a few places to park around the arena. We parked across from the Oregon Research Institute and walked over. It cost $10, but the attendant was helpful and informative. Not bad and very easy to get to and from.
We walked around the area and I stopped to ask a couple of event coordinators that were directing traffic about where to drop off my mother and if there was specific handicapped parking available. We're going to the Elton John concert in a couple weeks, so I wanted to find out where to drop her off and park. They were all more than happy to help.
We went inside, after scaling through the baggage check line. I gave my husband my ID and left my bag at home. This speeds up the process of getting in the door by a lot. We had to stop and look my our tickets to find out where we were sitting. There was an attendant/employee there to help and direct us, and were quite helpful.
We sat in the 105 section, which was very easy to get to, and the bathrooms were right outside our section. We bought all of our tickets online, for both the basketball game and the concert. I have no opinion on concerts yet, as this will be the first one I've seen there. Last night we saw a Duck basketball game.
The arena is quite nice, and very comfortable to sit in and navigate. There's multiple entrances, and it's easy to find your way around. It's not a huge arena by any near means, but that's something I've always liked about Oregon Duck venues, like Autzen Stadium and Matthew Knight Arena.
We enjoyed our visit here last night, and we will definitely return. I had no complaints. Everyone working there was very helpful and made for a nice evening.
