Needed somewhere within walking distance last night and tried here after reading Aoifes' recommendation.
Greeted by the lovely Paddy who was all chat and when we ordered (starters and mains) told us that we could get a pint or a glass of wine with a pizza and the main would be €10!
I always have to try the wings when visiting a restaurant for the first time and these were so good il be back again and again for them. Just how I like them.
I went for the burger and it was juicy and well
Cooked, opted for no bun as im gluten intolerant and the chunky fries were lovely.
My friend had garlic mushrooms and they looked lovely and came with a generous salad and she had a pizza which looked lovely.
I have a small gripe though, there was zero offering for gluten free. I'm not a ceoliac so I don't have to worry too much about cross contamination but it's a shame that with so much choice on the menu there isn't a couple of gluten free options.
I did talk to the manager about it and he said he was going to ask his pizza chef to try out some gluten free bases so that would be interesting! read more
