I recommend this Metro (and it is a Metro, despite the Dominion name on Yelp) for quick after-work visits or perhaps to pick up some snacks before the big game. This store is an old-fashioned Dominion at heart with narrow aisles and without large-sized packages. The narrow aisles are filled with promotional stands, which is maddening when you're playing cart chicken with someone else. Most frustrating is that you can only take your cart about five feet out of the store and can't get them past steel barricades. So, with a normal cartful of groceries you're forced to make two trips and leave your food at the mercy of some totally sketchy characters, usually a guy with a mullet, a coffee and a cigarette, or perhaps a senior a few buttons shy on his shirt. I won't do another even average-sized shopping here again. It's just not worth it.
On the positive side, the store gives Air Miles. read more
