Happy Cinco de Mayo! We really searched far and wide and found this super authentic Mexican restaurant which was actually so close to home! Not that I'm an expert in Mexican cuisine or anything but we did just recently visit Cancun, and these dishes definitely brought back memories of the trip! Due to it being a special occasion, when we got there, the restaurant was PACKED, but the owner was kind enough to find us a spot by the bar. Note to self: make reservations ahead of time if attempting to dine here or come early to avoid the dinner rush! I'm a sucker for Nachos so when I saw a gold star recommendation next to it on the menu, I knew I had to have it. I have absolutely no regrets We got steak fajitas as well, which came with a huge variety of accompaniments such as sauteed vegetables, rice, pico de gallo, guacamole, and refried beans. The corn tortillas served with these were still heavily corn flavoured but definitely lighter than the ones we had in Mexico which We also had to try the Birria Tacos which were fabulous! Sad to say we didn't get to try any dessert, but we were just so full! This'll definitely be the place I recommend when friends in Richmond hill ask for Mexican recommendations!
