This is my Lulu favorite place to go. I've never seen a park so big. There are two sides that expand across the street, and what I found out recently is that the schools used this park for soccer games and baseball. Now, that was a pleasant surprise for Lulu and me last Saturday. We stayed sitting at one of the tables, watching the games.
But there's more here; it's a children's playground, several trails throughout the wooded areas, and the paths are cleared of debris. It's a really clean park, the tables aren't stained. There are plenty of garbage cans throughout. It's plenty of parking; even on Saturday, when the park was packed, we still got a place. I like that the big trees block out more of the sun, giving Lulu more time to enjoy her walks and being nosy.
As you can see in the picture, there's a little bookhouse, and I bought some books the other day to drop off. That's the least I can do, my way of apologizing to the ducks and turtles for Lulu barking and wagging her tail at them. read more
