Stay away from Meyer's RV - Apollo. Buyer beware.
I was promised $8,500 for my trade-in (2016 Keystone Bullet) after I fully disclosed a small delamination issue on the front cap. Once I made the 2-hour drive and was already invested in the deal, they pulled the same tactic others have reported--telling me they "couldn't even get $4,000 at auction" and dropped the value to $4,500. The exact same line is used in several other public reviews, which tells me this is a pattern--not a one-time issue.
On top of that, I paid $1,900 for a prep package that was supposed to include roof and sealant inspection, plumbing and LP checks, and a full walkthrough. Instead, I received an RV with a cracked, leaking skylight, puddling near the slide, and roof sealant that was moldy, brittle, and clearly untouched. I asked for a signed prep checklist and was told it "couldn't be printed."
They also failed to install the proper hitch. I told them multiple times my truck required a 2.5" drop shank, but they brought a 2" with a reducer and tried to make it work. It didn't. I couldn't haul the RV, and they ended up having to deliver it--after delays.
Ashley was polite at first, but none of the key promises were honored. I've now had to document everything myself--thermal scans, moisture readings, and photos--because Meyer's failed to deliver on basic promises.
If you're shopping here, be prepared to re-inspect everything, fight for documentation, and spend time and money fixing what should've been handled during "prep." This dealership does not stand behind their word. read more
