First to review? Don't mind if I do. This review is for the attached COMMUNITY ROOM.
My non-profit org needed a training space for the day so we booked the attached Community Room. It exceeded ALL expectations - even after getting a tour of the facilities from one of the library staffers. Read on for what worked well:
-Easy to book. There is a designated person within the library who handles booking requests. My Ops Manager handled everything then passed the info off to me. The Room was open and ready for us early Friday morning as planned, even though the actual library didn't open until an hour later.
-Separate Entrance. The room has its own entrance and exit and restrooms so no need to walk through the library to access the space.
-Seats 50 COMFORTABLY. The chairs were lightweight yet heavy duty which is paramount for accessibility and size diversity concerns. There were tables that sat 4 across.
-Advanced A/V. The room includes a projector, sound, and wireless mirroring. No need to worry about this plug and that plug. Easy breezy setup with Macs and PCs.
-Kitchen. We didn't use this but it was there along with an auxiliary supply room.
This is a great space! Middlesex is not my county but I feel comfortable in saying that if they approach community space like this I'm sure their library is top-notch and people focused as well. I've included some pics of my initial tour of the space. read more
