My husband and I have been living in the Millrace Apartments since September 2017. We moved to Eugene from Alaska and reserved an apartment sight unseen. We rent one of the 2 bedroom, townhouse style apartments. Amanda the property manager was very easy to work with and communicative throughout the entire process. They have a very generous and affordable pet policy in addition to the best rent prices you will find in this proximity to the University of Oregon. I'm just pretty sensitive to noise, as well, and I have to say that for being so close to the university and the train tracks, it is surprisingly quiet, which I really appreciate. Just a heads up though- These are not luxury apartments that cater to students with swimming pools, 24/7 study rooms, fitness centers, on call massage therapists. But if you don't need those things and just want a clean, simple apartment that is within easy access to the university, public transportation, shopping, Autzen stadium, then this is a great place to be.
