We found this charming, welcoming coffee shop while passing through town. Entering the adorable shop, we were warmly greeted by owners Ron and Sharon. Comfortable couches, stools at the coffee bar, window-side tables, high-top tables and outdoor cafe seating offer a wide variety of choices. The chalk board menu offers a variety of cutely named owner-created fru-fru coffee drinks as well as some standard teas and coffees. I decided that I wanted to make my own hot combination of mocha, hazelnut and and peppermint. It was so delicious and the underlying robust smooth tasting coffee was not over-run by the sweet syrups...Ron layered those flavors very nicely. This drink is now called the Paramedic Special! If you are passing through the area, take a very short detour and enjoy some wonderful southern hospitality and a great cup of coffee! read more
