Mimosa Park is an 8.7 acre neighborhood park in Richardson. It's a great walking/hiking park with maintained trails. But, if you are not into hiking, the park has other amenities as well. There is a nice playground for kids, tennis courts for all ages, picnic tables, a baseball diamond, a soccer field, and more!' I come to the park to read sometimes.
