While shopping in Flushing decided to check out Ming Wei, a street-facing food stall/hole-in-the-wall. (Note - There is only room to stand and order, i.e., no seating.) Went for their Chinese Crepe and round, self-contained Fried Chicken Pie. The Crepe, their version of Jian Bing, was immediately prepared while I waited, with egg, black sesame, scallions, crushed large wonton strips, lettuce and greens, some sauce, and (optional) chili paste. Ming Wei's Chinese Crepe was definitely a winner! Extremely large and delicious for only 5 bucks! The different textures and flavors worked well together, providing an interesting eating experience. On the other hand while the fried chicken was tender, the pie crust was a little hard for my taste, which might have been because it was end-of-day. (Note - If it was as good as the outstanding Crepe, I'd give Ming Wei 5 Stars!) Regardless, likely to explore some of their other items on another trip to Flushing!
