You say goodbye, and I say halal Halal, halal I don't know why you say goodbye I say halal In the middle of the night if you need a halal cart (and who doesn't, in NY, anyway), there used to be a whole host of great selections, especially Sammy's and the original Halal Guys, 24 hours a dayand what not. I'm talking on any given night of the week, not just on weekends. These days the pickings are a bit more slim and I'm not sure why. New York City definitely isn't the 24-hour City that used to be. I guess nowhere really is. Not in the USA anyway. But what I will tell you is that there are still a few great Halal Carts around even in the middle of the night, and this is a very very late night one which is pretty damn good. It's not the best I've had but if you're looking for halal cart food in Manhattan at 5 in the morning, it's pretty good, and I'm surprised it's not already on Yelp. read more
