Mike left me stranded in the desert for a month on false promises. I live in my RV, and I have nowhere else to go. He is dishonest and non-communicative. Save yourself time and headache and just don't even call Mike I reached out to Mike for work on my trailer on Friday May 10th. He said that he can do the work, and that he would be out to help me on the following Thursday. On Thursday the 16th, I checked in with Mike and he said that he would call me in a bit, but I never received a call. I texted him on Sunday the 19th, and received no response. I called Mike on Tuesday the 21st. It was at this point that I finally learned that Mike was having trouble sourcing the parts that I needed. Mike said that the distributor he was trying to get the part from said they had it, but actually did not. Mike told me that he "told the guy off", which made the distributor more difficult to work with. I asked if there were any other options and he said he will see what he can do and will let me know. Also on the 21st I texted that I would pay extra for the fastest shipping possible, and that it would soon be too hot for me to continue living in my trailer. I have nowhere else to go. I then texted Mike again a week later on Tuesday the 28th, just asking for an update. Mike responded saying that he had received the shipping confirmation the day before, and that it would be delivered in 4 to 5 days. On the following Tuesday the 4th of June, I sent Mike my location just so he had it. The parts surely should have been delivered by then, but heard nothing back. On Wednesday the 5th I asked for an update. Mike called me, and started talking about a window screen, and that they had sent him the wrong window screen. I reminded Mike that I am waiting for parts to replace my axle. He replied that the parts for that should be delivered in a day or two. Immediately after the call, Mike texted me again talking about the wrong window screen being delivered. This was the last time I heard from Mike. I *once again* reminded him that I am waiting for parts to replace my axle. Then, on Thursday the 6th of June, I asked for an update on the shipping. On Saturday the 8th of June I texted Mike and asked if there was a problem with the shipment. I then texted that I am getting a hotel, because it had become too uncomfortable in my RV due to the heat. Finally, I texted Mike on the evening of June the 8th that I am canceling the job and looking for help elsewhere. read more
