They charged me an extra $5 for "coffin" shape; however, I came in with square shaped nails. The nail tech never asked me if I wanted my nails shorter or reshaped. He just did what he wanted (which is not coffin shape) lol. I wasn't going to argue in their business over $5, but these nail techs need to learn modern day nail shapes. A simple google search would show you what different nail shapes there are. A coffin shape tapers to not as wide at the ends. He did not do coffin shape. See the picture.
Side note: the place I go to at home in jersey includes cuticle clean up, lotion massage and hot towel with the acrylic fill for $45. In Monroe I'd expect to pay less for the lower quality/skill set to begin with, but I guess they also have less knowledge on shapes too. read more
