This pumpkin patch is located on the outskirts of Montclair Plaza on the side with Lazy Dog and AMC. There is a pumpkin patch section, bounce houses, snack vendors, arts and crafts, a petting zoo and a bunch of fun festivities for the little ones. The catch is that you will need their tickets to enter each section, tickets are required.
Tickets are $1.25/each, but you can purchase in bulk for discounts. The pumpkin patch section was only 1 ticket each so I only bought 2 tickets for my niece and I to browse. They have a little hay maze and a few photo opportunity set ups. Nothing too fancy but cute and enjoyable for my niece and I to amuse ourselves for about half an hour. We have our own tripod/selfie stick so it was convenient to take the photos ourselves.
The staff were all pretty friendly and it wasn't too busy when we came late at night so I liked that there were not too many interruptions to our photos. One thing my niece didn't like was how there were excessive signs saying "Don't pick Pumpkins up by the stem." I get it... but maybe put those signs where it won't interfere with the photo op. I think they can do a little more with string lights above the patch like some other venues to improve the pumpkin patch vibes at night.
Quick and fairly inexpensive visit so we weren't expecting too much. We ended up having a great time. I would consider dropping by again in the future for some kettle corn. read more
