Emma was a lovely host and tasting guide. Honestly everyone was great! Loved seeing Kitty greet folks. She was super chill and didn't bother anyone. (Kitty is a cute doggo.) We tried 5 wines...all were tasty but we particularly enjoyed the last 2... one was a 100% Cab Sauv and the other was 100% Merlot. It's rare to find wines that are 100% one varietal. They don't have a lot but what they have is high quality and crafted with care. What was really cool... was they had a rock as an example of the Rocks that are in the Rocks district. This area is covered in these rocks which are very heavy and big... and the vines seem to thrive in this environment. A Frenchman long ago saw this area and just knew that he could produce wines from grapes grown in this region. read more
