Munch on Mi is such a cute name as well of the logo! I wanted to try the two new places at the Liliha Food Court! The place has picked up since I've last time I've been there. Although, it was sad to see some of vendors were gone, but at the same time I'm excited to see new vendors. I usually order the pork banh mi when trying new places but I saw there was a special combo banh mi which is the combo of their original (Vietnamese ham) and the roast pork. Since it's their special, I decided to try it because I like the crispy roast pork. It was filled with fresh marinated vegetables and small cuts of roast pork mixed with the steamed ham. It was tender and easy to eat. Roast pork wasn't as crispy. I'm not sure if it suppose to have any sauce. It seemed more healthier than I'm used to with the other type of banh mi with a stronger flavor. Nice size bread and not the narrow type, although I like mines a little toasted. All in all, it was good and I would like to try their grilled pork and the peppery garlic beef banh mi the next time. You can pay $18 to have 3 choices. I would definitely come back for more. There abundance of free parking and the lady owner was really nice and helpful! My mom and I love Banh mi sandwiches, because of the marinated veggies in the Banh mi sandwiches. My dad used to make the marinated veggies to add to their sandwiches when he was here with us. Please give them a try. Many other places sells banh mi sandwiches but their parking were limited so this place had abundance of parking stalls so it was a great plus! read more
