Murray Canal Trail is 3.1 mile gravel trail that starts at the back of Wheeler Farm, and stops at Fontaine Bleu Drive. It meanders along the river with houses on either side of the trail. You do have to cross a couple busy streets to continue on the trail to the end, but it's not a big deal. It's a nice in and out trail with hardly any traffic. If you are not used to walking on gravel it does take some getting used to. My dogs didn't care for it much. I'm sure after years of use the gravel will work itself down into the path which will make the walk a lot smother, unless of course Murray City wants to top it off with more gravel, but I don't see that happening. read more
