Disappointing business practice, but most disappointing was my interaction with the staff. This should have been a 4 or 5 star review. I just recently started eating at Muse. One of best hamburgers in NWA, and really good fries. What's good? 1) Excellent hamburgers with delicious and fresh toppings -- Thin burgers are thin which I love! -- I just get a double 2) Great fries What's bad? 1) My double burger, fries, and drink was $16.72. WOW! And no cheese. 3) They charged me $0.75 up charge for Jalapeños. -- Jalapeños was listed right there with the other "typical" toppings to choose from. No where did it say extra for Jalapeño The order person could have just said.... Jalapeños is an extra charge, is that ok? What is the "worst"... why 2 stars? 1) I told the young lady.... "You guys have the best burgers in NWA! But I'm just curious about the up charge. -- I was told very rudely, "it's clearly marked on the menu Jalapeños are $0.75 extra.". Then a guy comes out of the back area and sharply says the same thing. I explained it did not.... Let's go look at the menu together. It's nowhere on there!! It did say adding peppers to fries was $0.50 extra. Why be rude and stand by something inaccurate! Why not just say thank you for the compliment on our burgers and your feedback on the peppers up charge. Why make an adversary that'll leave you with a customer alienated and a horrible review for everyone to see for the next couple years? I just don't get it. But it's an unethical business practice to quietly add up- charges and then say it's clearly noted on the menu when you can simply look at it right around the corner.
