Nacho Kat just opened this week. It is very clean; and the atmosphere is very welcoming and casual. There are 5 or six tables that will seat four. The owner was warm, pleasant, and accommodating. The menu is extensive. I placed a to-go order of two tacos a la carte. 1. Shredded chicken on flour tortilla, American style. I opted to have the "fried cheese," which meant that they toasted the flour tortilla with the cheese in it before adding the filling. It had a generous portion of shredded chicken that is seasoned like I like it (cumin is definitely an ingredient). Topped with lettuce and tomato. Very good! 2. Mahi Mahi. I asked if they had cabbage slaw, curtido, or something that they could put on the taco. She said "sure we can we can make that." Woo hoo! Again, a very generous portion of fish, and the taco was delicious! I highly recommend trying out this new small business in Covington.
