Okay, the building was nice, and while a nice building, at least in my mind, does do wanders for a pub, particularly if the building is quite old, it isn't the be all and end all for the pub. This place is, well, case in point. I guess in a lot of cases it really came down to the service, which I have to admit was pretty bad. Sure, it might have been rather early in the afternoon, but I have to admit that this place was quite disappointing. Oh, the beer selection was pretty shocking as well, but that is to be expected with country pubs. read more
