I had a pretty good experience with NCCRM. They were very aggressive with getting things on track with my IVF process. The nurse that I worked with was understanding and helpful. We live about 4 hours away so it was tough for us to come up for visits so often. That was frustrating when all they needed was blood work.
The only negative thing that happened was after my egg retrieval. They seriously carted me out of the operating room and I was in so much pain. I was not warned about how much pain I would be in and I could not even lay down. My OBGYN at home saw me and wanted me to be evaluated by Dr. Toma so my husband and I drove 4 hours to Cary to see him. He said there was nothing wrong with me. I couldn't even sit or lie down because of the pain. We drove back home and found out that my ovaries were hyper stimulated and I was admitted into our local hospital. I missed a week of work.
However, I was able to go on with the fertilization of my eggs and have the embryos (2) transferred. They both took in the beginning but only one survived and now we have our precious baby boy. read more
