Auto repair experiences are very "hit-or-miss", but I'm happy to say that my experience with Newman's was a hit. My A/C compressor locked up and needed a new one along with a new drier, and Newman's quoted me the cheapest price in town (about $300 less than 3 other competitors that I got quotes from). The first thing I noticed when I pulled into the parking lot was that they were busy. They get so much business that they have much more cars than garage space. However, that does not keep them from getting to them sooner. They have an arsenal of mechanics working on individual cars throughout the lot, everywhere. In fact, all of their repaired vehicles are parked in the back of the Home Depot parking lot down the road to conserve space. My price was as quoted and they had my car back to me the next day as promised. They also have a driving service that will pick you up or drop you off from to and from the shop if needed. If you have issues with the A/C in your vehicle, take it to these guys...they really know what they're doing. read more
