My kids missed this beautiful new middle school in the Council Rock School District, but I am pleased to have had the opportunity to participate in an endorsement meeting before the upcoming May Pennsylvania primaries. The auditorium is large, with good acoustics and comfortable folding seats. The outer hallway is broad and accommodates the many folding tables needed to sign people in and put signatures on the many candidate petitions required for all the offices on the ballot. It was a successful if somewhat disorganized Bucks County wide event. Always feels good to participate in our still vibrant democracy. It may not be working well in Harrisburg and Washington, but we still know what it takes to make our local exercise in community civics work. VOTE!!! read more
