I recently took a trip to Ontario to visit the Niagara Falls and saw a bunch of signs advertising about an indoor skydiving place as if it was one of the best things to do in the Niagara Falls area...and we fell for it smh. We went 15 minutes before it opened and everything was completely dark. There were no clear signs of the hours of operation so we walked in thinking it was open. When we went up the stairs a guy a comes out - I have no idea if he's the owner or something but he looks as if he does not want to be there. He really just looks disinterested. Reading the other reviews makes me feel like wow this guy was just not having a bad day - he generally doesn't care (if it was the same guy - if not then wow you have two employees that generally don't give a hoot lol). The next thing we did was watch a video that gave you instructions on how to stay safe and hand signals to be able to talk to the instructor. Although the video looked like it was filmed in the 90s, the people in the film were doing all types of spins and crazy stuff that made me get excited - like wow I'm about to do a black flip on this thing. After that we signed a waiver and he made us practice how we would lay in the indoor skydiving room before going in. Before we finally got inside the room, we were given a suit, glasses, and ear plugs.
Okay so now - the "skydiving" part lol.
WTF JUST HAPPENED? Haha this was hilarious - at this point I'm not even mad about my boyfriend wasting this much money on this but I feel the need to let others know. We go in and we practice a little bit before the wind starts. Then he has us jump to the middle and not once did we get up more than 3 ft. I was so confused. The instructor was really nice but wow we never actually sky dived at all. I was floating but he was holding me the whole time. Maybe we didn't have enough experience or we didn't have the proper form but....wow. The wind felt like it was smacking me in the face - it was too much to handle and it was freezing! To the people who own this place, please revamp the place! It's supposed to be an interactive center!!
Price: Around $70 per person - too pricey for the experience!! read more
