Nice Slice located at the corner of Harbord and Borden in Harbord Village serves up pizza slices, whole pies, cold beers and wines by the glass in a casual space. They currently are in their soft opening phase where they are only open from Wed to Sun starting at 12pm till 9pm. A whole pie is $25 while slices are $5. They have beer cans and wines in the fridge as well as $12 glasses of wine as well. I stopped by Nice Slice on a Sat around 1pm to grab some lunch. The place is spacious where as soon as you enter, you are met with a display full of delicious looking slices. They also have their pizza flavours listed - unique ones include the zaatar pie. I opted to grab 2 slices (couldn't resist)! Service was friendly and staff gave suggestions when I couldn't decide which slices to get. My slices were quickly reheated in the oven and then I picked them up shortly afterwards at the counter. There is water available to the side with cups if you decide not to grab any alcoholic beverages. The 2 pizza slices I got were: - Zaatar pie - Vodka pepperoni The zaatar pie was unique and delicious, a combination I've never had before. The vodka pepperoni was probably my favourite - it was just flavourful, tasty, and delicious. The crust of the pizza is thin, with a slight chew and crisp to it. The ingredients are fresh and the ratio of crust to toppings is spot on. Overall, a great new pizza spot in Harbord Village!
