I hadnt been in here in a few years, and driving past I went OH YA, I FORGOT! we were hungry, walking in from the pouring down rain I was VERY warmly greeted (I was only customer) super friendly. Their menu has a 'mushroom chicken' which I ordered. They verified 'rice and salad?', of course! They have a good sized menu up on the wall. Of course prices are going up, we gots inflation ya know. Our lunch came out quick. The sauce was BOMB, so good. Went great with the steamed rice. I thought maaayyyyybbbbeeeee there could've been a little more chicken. Plastic to-go containers make me sad, but that seems to be the general rule here. I dont know how I'd forgotten about this place, will make sure to visit our next trip to Big Island.
