It might not be as fashionable to sing the praises of a multinational corporate multiplex over the plucky independent cinemas but I love film and still get just as excited by every trip to the cinema as I did when I was a nipper so in Liverpool there is currently nowehere to compete with the Odeon.
It's brand new and huge with the latest technology to ensure that the audio and visual experience is top notch - you can only come here to watch a blockbuster on one of these massive screens for the full effect.
The only downside is that being in the heart of L1 the Odeon does attract huge crowds - Fri and Sat night are a nightmare, defo pre book tickets - and a lot of these are kids. However, this Odeon has the saving grace of a Gallery section which is an over-18's section with a bar. Brilliant. read more
