Full disclosure, I went with Taste of Arizona so all food was free in exchange for my honest review. Old School Grub is an American cafe with a bar and karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. I appreciate the locally owned, mom & pop feel. The inside feels dated though. Very late 90s decore and furniture. The restaurant is clean and lit well enough with many windows for natural light. The food is decent. The eggs benedict was ok. The hollandaise sauce was tasty, but the eggs were not drained enough resulting in a soggy English muffin. I'd recommend wording it with light sauce. Everything was swimming in it. The homeboy potatoes were overcooked and the veggies in them were undercooked and crunchy. The coffee was typical dinner coffee.
